READY FOR THE RIDE? UP, DOWN & ALL AROUND

Entrepreneurship is just like a roller coaster ride and if you don’t like these rides at the amusement park, then entrepreneurship might not be for you.

You will work hard to get up the hill and be excited but remember when you reach the top, the next part of the ride is plunging straight down and then going into the sharp turn which might make your stomach flip-flop and leave you with a sore neck. Running your own business is similar, and hopefully, if you choose this ride you will reach the top and have many successes, the ride down won’t be that scary and the sharp turn won’t cause you too much pain.

Throughout the ride, you will question your sanity, whether you are on your way up, plunging down or taking a sharp turn. You may ask yourself the following questions – and not just once but on a repeated basis:

• What was I thinking?
• Is this really what I am supposed to be doing?
• What am I doing wrong?
• Why? Why? Why?

Before you get started, ask yourself the following:

• Am I ready for this wild ride?
• Am I ok with the ups, downs and all arounds?

If the answer is yes to both questions then get ready for the ride of your life.
